The Tilted Kilt opened on Highway 6 - " . . . the waitresses in tiny plaid miniskirts, white knee socks and push-up plaid bra tops covered by a tight-fitting white blouse tied in front are part of the appeal. The garb shows off cleavage, bare midriffs and the dimples in the servers' lower backs. "I like the free snacks and the waitresses," said Jim Templin of Gilbert. "It's better scenery than where I normally go for happy hour. I think they show more skin here than Hooters." www.tiltedkilt.com/Now we just need an excuse to go there. Hamster, when are you getting back from Afghanistan?

I'm coming back to the states in March, and am trying to plan a trip for around spring break or early summer.

Cool! But we'll have to do a recon before then. FireDevil, when are you in town next?

I'll be in for Christmas, then back to Shreveport, then back to houston for New Years, then back to Shreveport. A quick few days in town tied up with family. I may not be able to attend a recon until February. But I'm thinking it's a great idea.

Come on down! In March, Houston has an average high of 71. April it's 78. Lows are 50 and 58 - probably far higher than your highs.
