I convinced the wife (SoC-Kitty) to read Eric Haney's Delta Force. She has been doing fine so far...about 1/3rd through, but she says it is starting to bore her. Especially the gun part.....any advice I can give her so that she actually finishes it? I told her the 2nd half is a lot more about real missions and what not and that seems to have helped, but I don't know. Of course, if she does finish it, she will likely make me read a romance novel or a Anne Rice  |

Just tell her to skip over the parts that bore her. I do it all the time. There just weren't any parts of that book that bored me.Just finished "Secret Commandos- behind enemy lines with the elite warriors of SOG" by John Plaster. Good read, even if it's a little repetetive at times. Those deep recon guys had big, brass uh.... medals.

But at least most of that crap was written so a four year old could read it. So it shouldn't take me but about 5 minutes to read them. |

That's me sneezing into our camcorder at our wedding reception (very drunk). I got another clip of the dog kicking me in the nuts that I want as an avatar, but it's hard getting kitty to do it for me (she says she forgot how, I think she is just lazy...i hope she never reads this) and I'm much to dumb and unmotivated to figure out how to do it myself.
