Looks like I'm going to be transferring to Ft Hood, probably after my first deployment to Iraq.
Things have gotten to the point with my wife that I have told her she is leaving, and she has accepted that. She should be leaving here within 2 weeks. Soooo, I'm going to be sent to Texas to be closer to family in order to get assistance with my daughter. More details as I get them.

Damn, sorry to hear that the marriage is breaking up, but I hope all is for the best. What is the ETA for the move to Hood?

It's not 100% positive as of this moment, but most likely sometime towards the end of this year. Eventually, they want me to end up back at Ft Polk in a newly created slot that hasn't recieved final approval yet.

Trish is gone to stay with her mother. She should be landing in Houston about 2 pm CST today.

My deployment to Iraq is back on for April, as of right this minute.... the dates have only changed about 4-5 times this week.

Somehow I'm gettin' your emails, Al...lol. But the Borg's answer is YES. I will be in attendance Thursday night for some HOOTERS. Well....uhhh...some wings AT Hooters...lol. Maybe some real live hooters if I'm lucky!!!!! ROFL!!!!
