Saw that the probabilities were 20% for Gulf Shores, 18% for Pensacola, and 16% for New Iberia. That means that Biloxi/Gulfport is gonna take a hit! (That's where Grannie, Harley, Ice, DevilDog, and Dragonheart all live). Good luck, guys!
But Grannie is betting that it's gonna hit Galveston - that's me, FireDevil, and Firekiller. Taking bets now.

I'm hoping the bastard will turn right and go to Mexico, but I wouldn't bet on it. We battened down the offices in Mobile, Gulfport, New Orleans, and Houma today, and turned our employees loose to take care of their families. If it don't hit, it's been a good drill, and more importantly, our troops know that we think their families welfare is more important than any stupid job. It's true, and the fact that we're walking the walk will pay huge dividends down the road.
We'll keep an eye on it, and run if we need to. Think I'm going to take the time off tomorrow to plant my food plots. Damn deer gotta eat too ya know!!

Just got off the phone with my sister in Biloxi. They're staying, thinking that they'll be OK since they are north of I-10.
Guys, if you're running, we can put you up. If you're staying, best of luck to you and please call when it's over. I know the power will be out and the cell towers down for a while, but let us know if there's anything we can do.

Appreciate the concern. Just spoke to Harley, and we're both still kinda playing it by ear. If it's gonna hit Mobile as a Cat-4, we'll only have 100 MPH winds or less maybe, and we'll both stay and ride it out. If it moves and is coming head-on, or West of us, and/or it goes to a Cat-5, we'll bail. Kev's planning on heading NW, towards Shreveport, and we're gonna head NE towards Birmingham, with enough flexability to keep moving if sugar turns to s**t there. We're both boarded up, and well North of I-10 so we'll be OK (probably). Both have generators, bourbon, beer, ice, plenty of groceries, and guns to kill more if need be!! I've got a sattelite phone so if the phones go down, we'll still be able to communicate (SAC and I each have one so we can continue business as need be). I'll send you the number to that phone Al, via your email address, but be advised that I can't get it to work while in the house (tin roof I guess), but if we stay and s**t deteriorates, I'll have it outside after the storm, and turned on.
Adios for now,
ICE

Latest report is that the eye will come through "probably somewhere between Gulfport, Miss., and Pensacola, Fla., just before sunrise". I'll talk to you guys if you're on Team Speak tonight, but I'm betting your power will be out by then.

All,
Harley and I have decided to ride out the storm this morning. We think we'll be OK, as the storm is weakening, and it'll be off to our East. I'll give you guys updates as long as we have power, and phone lines. Took my satellite dish for the internet down just now, so we're dependant on dialup.
Adios for now,
ICE

Weather's picking up boys, rain & wind, gusts probably 30-40 MPH already. Think I'll go get a shower (maybe the last one for a while and then make my self a MakersMark, lots of ice, & splash of water. Then Catfish (Blacklab) and I will go sit on the front porch and watch the pine trees sway. Stay tuned for your eyewitness report from the eye of the storm!!! Adios for now

Dateline: Biloxi/Saucier, Mississippi, 1720 HRS CST. Wind, Gusts of 47 MPH, steady rain. Real start of action at least an hour out, expect hurricane force winds somewhere around 0100. Power/Phones working, and this reporter is going to attempt to remain sober to continue my chosen assignment:) Actually I haven't had a "cocktail" yet, as I want my wits about me, should I have to learn to fly without any lessons.
Stay tuned sportsfans.
Adios for now

TV is constantly on the Weather channel. I am off work tomorrow, so it will probably stay on throughout the night. All I can say at this point is good luck.
